Do you only sell wholesale jewellery?

Yes, Paterson Fine Jewellery is an Australian wholesale jewellery supplier and manufacturer. Our Melbourne office is based in the bayside area of Cheltenham. We are best known for ladies, gents, children and Opal wholesale jewellery supplies Australia-wide.

MATERIALS & MANUFACTURING

What gold carats do you use?

We mainly use 9kt for all our gold wholesale jewellery supplies. Other carat options (14kt or 18kt) are available and can be custom-made on request.

 

Are your materials ethically sourced and ‘conflict-free’?

Yes, our factory is certified by the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council). All wholesale jewellery materials are ethically sourced and conflict free.

The RJC is an internationally recognised organisation dedicated to raising ethical standards across the jewellery supply chain. It promotes responsible, ethical, social, and environmental practices in the production of gold, silver, platinum group metals, diamonds, and coloured gemstones. The RJC has established benchmark standards and employs third-party auditing to ensure compliance with these responsible business practices.

 

Do you use nickel for the creation of white gold or other alloys?

All alloys used in Paterson Fine Jewellery products are nickel-free, in compliance with the EU Nickel Directive, which governs the use of nickel in alloys. This directive, now part of the REACH guidelines, regulates nickel in jewellery and other items that come into prolonged skin contact.

Our enamelling and plating process for all wholesale jewellery, including children's pieces, adheres to the Californian Metal-Containing Jewellery Law, which limits lead and cadmium exposure. While these are American and EU regulations, many reputable wholesale jewellery manufacturers worldwide follow them to ensure consumer safety.

 

Do all the gold jewellery items have stamps or hallmarks indicating their karat?

Yes, our wholesale jewellery that is made with precious alloys are hallmarked. Base-metal plated wholesale jewellery is not hallmarked.

 

Do diamonds and precious gemstone jewellery come with certificates detailing their quality, carat, type etc?

No, our precious gemstone wholesale jewellery do not come with certificates, unless specifically requested. We only certify diamonds over a half carat.

 

Do you stock items from manufacturers worldwide? Is the country of origin specified?

Our wholesale jewellery range is manufactured in our Paterson Jewellery factory premise in Thailand.

 

ORDERING

What is your ordering process?

Login to your wholesale jewellery account to order online. If you do not have an account, you can create an account. Alternatively, you can call us on (03) 9555 9344 or email us to place your order.

How long will it take to process an order?

Orders received before 12pm are processed and dispatched the same day. All wholesale jewellery online orders received after 12pm are dispatched the next business day (excluding weekends and public holidays). When you place an order you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive another email notification when your order has been shipped.

How do I place a backorder?

If a wholesale jewellery item is out of stock, you can place a backorder. On the product page, select the Size and Metal/Material you wish to order. Then simply click on the ‘Request Info’ button & fill in the details of your enquiry. Please include quantity required. We will get back to you within 1 business day and confirm your backorder.

It takes 4-6 weeks to manufacture & deliver your wholesale jewellery order. Upfront payment is required to confirm your backorder. If you are a buying group member, you may place a backorder on account.

 

What is the restocking process and turnaround times for your range?

We endeavour to keep stock of items that are included in our current wholesale jewellery catalogues.

Any wholesale jewellery marked ‘In stock’ on our website, can be express shipped to you within 2-3 business days. Orders placed before 12pm on business days will be dispatched the same day.

Special orders or any wholesale jewellery that is out of stock typically take 4-6 weeks to be delivered to you.

 

PRICING

How can I see prices?

You will need to login to your wholesale jewellery online account to view prices. If you do not have an account, you can create an account. All wholesale jewellery account applications are subject to assessment. Once your account has been approved, we will send you a confirmation email.

If you are a buying group member, all prices displayed on our website include your membership discount.

 

Which payment methods are accepted and what are your payment terms?

We accept credit card payments (Mastercard & Visa) for wholesale jewellery online or phone orders. We do not accept Amex. If you are a Nationwide, Showcase or IJC buying group member, you may place a wholesale jewellery order on account.

For independent accounts (non-buying group members), payment is required upfront via credit card. Based on your order history with us, we may extend 30-day on account payment terms.

 

Are there any discounts for regular customers?

As jewellery manufacturers and jewellery wholesale suppliers in Australia/NZ, we can assure you that all our products are competitively priced. If you are a Nationwide, Showcase or IJC buying group member, please contact us to find out your discount rate. Buying group members discounts are automatically applied. When you login, all prices displayed on our website include your buying group discount.

If you are an independent retailer and have built up an order history with us, we are open to discussing a bulk discount on your wholesale jewellery online orders.

 

Can you outline your pricing structure, including minimum order quantities and bulk discounts?

We have no minimum order quantity on wholesale jewellery and offer set discounts to members of buying groups only. We are open to discussing a discount on bulk wholesale jewellery online orders on a case-by-case basis.

Please rephrase & re-write the product descriptions & specifications in your own words.
