K. A. Paterson Pty Ltd was originally established in 1935 by Keith Armour Paterson as Australian jewellery wholesalers specialising in Opal castings and creole jewellery. It started out as a small family business and the entire manufacturing of jewellery was based in Melbourne.
Keith Paterson retired in 1972 and his son Ross Paterson took over the reins. The business was renamed to Paterson Fine Jewellery and expanded exponentially into one of the most prominent wholesale jewellery suppliers in Australia.
Paterson Fine Jewellery is now a leading jewellery wholesaler in Australia underpinned by quality manufacturing of jewellery.
Following Ross's retirement in 2020, his son David Paterson has continued to expand the business across Australia and New Zealand.
